From Malaysia to Melbourne
I moved to Australia from Malaysia when I was just 15 — barely any English, no connections, and no real idea what my future looked like. No plan, just a willingness to work and to learn. Everything HygieneHub is today grew out of that leap.
One pallet, collecting dust
I started this business in May 2024, when I was only 18, with no direction and a single pallet of gloves sitting in the warehouse. For a long while, nothing moved. It just sat there gathering dust while I tried to work out how to reach the people who actually needed it.
Kept trying, kept learning
So I kept at it. I tried, failed, learned, and tried again — over and over. Eventually I picked up a camera and started posting on social media, showing the gloves doing exactly what they do on real jobs, in real workshops.
People started showing up
That's when everything changed. People began backing me — not out of sympathy, but because they connected with the story, the character behind it, and the product itself. That support is genuine, and it means the world to me.
